Here are THREE families from our community who were nominated by our fans to help in our SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS - FESTIVAL BAND'S CHRISTMAS DRIVE 2013. FAMILY A:
Single Mom-Grandmother: Recently took custody of her two granddaughters (ages 7 and 9), who were abandoned by their mother; her son (dad) is unable to take care of his daughters due to severe depression. The girls have very little clothes and necessities. She also takes care of her daughter, a 27 y.o. Incomplete Quadriplegic. This working Mom and Grandmother, has missed many days of work but due to the responsibility of taking care of her granddaughters. Her paycheck is just enough to pay bills and she wants nothing but to give her granddaughters and daughter a nice Christmas. This family was chosen from a post on FB asking friends for assistance, anything to help is greatly appreciated.

27 y.o. Daughter:

• She also would love to give her mom a gift certificat to get her hair done
In addition, Mom/Grandmother can use some help with:
• Gift card to grocery stores
• Gift Card to Home Depot (Rick is currently working with HD to help this family fix their bathroom)
FAMILY B:
Dad and Mom: Dad works for under minimum wage; mom cooks to sell food. They have 3 children. Recently had to move from their home because of landlord’s option; they just had enough to pay deposit to move to another (mobile) home last week. They sold a lot of their belongings in order to put a roof over their head. Parents told children that they used up all of the money Santa sent them to move and they were not going to be able to have Christmas this year. This family was nominated by a Festival Friend and appreciates any help for this family.

FAMILY C:
Dad and mom: Both were both laid off their jobs recently. They have three children and all they want is for their children to have something to open at Christmas. The grandmother's friend nominated this family; grandma was going to help out, but her car was stolen and found totaled last week. Friend said the parents do not know she is doing this for them and anything is appreciated.
